In conjunction with it’s 20th anniversary celebration, Metropolitan College had organized a blogging competition, Blog-It! Tons of prizes to be won. The competition has two categories, blog writing and blog design.

A fellow blogger, LiewCF however had pointed out one silly flaw in the blog design rules and regulation. The is no mention of anything that says your blog design must be your own creation in order to be in the running.

In other words, someone with a good free design theme could stand the chance of winning the prize.

Then again this might just be more of a popularity contest then the contest of skills. We don’t see contesters of the music reality game show Akedemi Fantasia, singing songs that were created by themselves.

However, it is quite difficult to judge a blog design to be your creation. It is rarely the case that someone design his or hers blog theme all from scratch. Most of the time amateur blog designer start a blog theme from scratch, most of the time it is always based on other ready made template.

Being said that I think there is on blog on the list that deserve your votes. This kid that goes by the name Ikram Zidane truly has mad skills. Been watching his blog for quite sometime and his collection of WordPress themes are not bad at all. He deserve your vote.

I try to vote but the sign-up process is asking to much question for my tolerance. In this days and age, I am too used to simple web sign up. Most of the time all you need are email address and password and may be a username and full name.
