Prototype.js, a JavaScript Framework library that makes coding JavaScript and Ajax easy. I use Prototype on my web project most of the time. Prototype.js just recently launch it’s official website together with it’s official API documentation and a new version Prototype 1.5. Here are more prototype goodies.

There is a Prototype 1.5 complete API documentation in PDF version. The PDF is design for double-sided printing. It is a little handy reference book for Prototype, it’s all free.

There is a one-page cheat-sheet that list all the objects, functions and methods in Prototype 1.5.

Also if that is not enough, all you Mac people can download a Prototype widget that searches the online API documentation.

Prototype these days is a must-have for web developers.
