I love Wordpress. It’s the best bloging engine that I’ve use. I love the flexibility it offers to design the front end, themes. The back end, admin area, however is not that pleasant. Don’t get me wrong, it works, it get the job done but I’m just someone who love to work around beautiful things.

The new WP Tiger Administration Wordpress plugin from Ordered List looks wonderful. I’ve been using an older version of this plugin. It turns your Wordpress admin interface more OSX Tiger like. So similar that I actually press command + s (that’s ctrl + s for you Windows folks) to save my post thinking that it was an OSX Tiger application, Command + s doesn’t work of cause.

The new interface however looks less OSX Tiger-ish, but still a great improvement on the default Wordpress admin interface. Note that this plugin only change the CSS for the interface. It doesn’t add any extra functionality to your Wordpress.

This is the power of having a semantic XHTML design were the presentation are separated from the content. You can change the way a site looks with out messing with the HTML mark-up.

Anyway try it out.

Though the interface is great, I never used the previous version of Tiger Admin. Only because it was not compatible with Widget Options, if I recall correctly. Something tells me that they have already fixed that. I shall give this new version a try.
