Computer Wizardry, Esoteric Spirituality, and Mind-altering Substances

Digg.com comes to it’s second year, and had introduce some interesting updates in features and user interface. Digg has truely grown from it’s humble beginnings.
Digg has broaden it’s scope and cover topic areas other then technology related. Each topics then has sub topics. Digg still refuse to use ‘tags’ in organizing it’s stories, well good for them. Tags will just make the site more messy.
Digg add a podcast section. You can now ‘digg’ on podcast, be either feeds or individual episodes. Pretty sure Digg will be the first place people will go looking for top good quality podcast.
Digg is taking the whole ‘digging’ (voting) concept to a lot of areas other then breaking news stories.

Another cool enhancement is how Digg plays embedded video. On the video section, click a video then ala lightbox.js effect, an embedded video pop out and you can watch it on Digg.
Those who haven’t check out Digg, should check it out. Looks like Digg is going to stay for a very long time.
