Computer Wizardry, Esoteric Spirituality, and Mind-altering Substances

‘Microsoft’ is not a word I normally use to associate with ’sexy’ or ’search’. Sexy and search also don’t normally go well together, but Ms Dewey is one sexy search engine. Although it might not be a very useful search engine site if you are going to use it everyday, unlike Google it take some time to load it’s Flash based video animations and such, but it’s a fun site to waste you time on and I don’t mind looking at Ms. Dewey everyday.
Ms Dewey is a search engine powered by Microsoft’s live search, it also refers to the sexy character of the same name who is the main subject here. The site is Flash based with a somewhat interesting interface for Windows Live Search. The interface as you can see on the image, features a futuristic cite as backdrop (reminds me of 2Advanced), Ms Dewey on the left site and the search result on the right.
What makes it interesting is, Ms. Dewey actually interact with you while you search her. The sentence doesn’t sound right, let me rephrase, I mean while you key in your search query on the search box. Based on what you asked Ms. Dewey (what you type in) she will response with some dialog skit. Try search for ‘iPod’ or ‘Apple’, I dare you. Haven’t had this much fun since ELIZA.
I also like how she loads. What I meant whit that sentence is the loading screen. When she finish (loading that is) there is all this shot random skit of Ms. Dewey caught doing something else and then act all surprise when she sees you.
I never thought that I would one day say this, but Microsoft finally has something something sexy. Ms. Dewey is far more better looking then Bob. It might just be a work from some design firm that Microsoft bought the rights to, but I’m just to lazy to research that right now.
Ms. Dewey is played by Janina Gavankar. Now if she would play the PC role for the ‘Get a Mac’ ads… but thats another story all together.

I got quickly bored of “her” after the 3rd search…
