My first post on Blog.Jiboneus was on 29th October 2005. It has been a year since that. This is a good time to describe what Blog.Jiboneus is about.

Jiboneus.com is the personal site of J.Shamsul Bahri. Blog.Jiboneus is also my full-time gig. It’s updated frequently but not as frequently as I wanted it to be. The topic mainly covers technology and other topic that I think are important enough.

Blog.Jiboneus is, computer wizardry, esoteric spirituality and mind-altering substances.

Looking at the ‘tag cloud’, you can see I do talk quite a lot about ‘Apple’ the computer company not the fruit, Google, Blogosphere in general, the Web and Web 2.0 stuff. The tag cloud described this blog pretty well.

Jiboneus.com itself is in complete, it wont be anytime soon, I will never be, because I love to experiment and play around with it.

I start using Mint around January 2006, and since that there are about 11,000 plus unique visitors with around 1000 unique per month. Not much, not anything near to the traffic of an A-list blogger has but it’s ok.

I always thought that my readers are more on the geek crowds, but looking at the browsers stats, tells a different story. 65% of my visitor uses Internet Explorer (why?!), 26% on Firefox, 5% on Safari, 2% on Netscape and 1% on Opera, there are also other browser, less then 1%, Camio, Konqueror, Shiira. There are actually a lot of options in web browser out there other then Internet Explorer, try it out.

Hope the next year for Jiboneus will be much better.
