Nintendo in Malaysia, officially!

I’ve always like Nintendo as a gaming company more then the rest. I basically grow up with Mario. Remember the Super NES system? Those were sweet.

I’m all too happy to see this piece on my feed today. Nintendo is making it’s presence in Malaysia official. Not many companies in the gaming industry gives a damn about us in Malaysia due to the rampant piracy issue. It is actually harder to find original games then a pirated ones here in Malaysia. Sure we could get our console games, but mostly are from those rather shady import shops.

It looks like Nintendo has an official counter, located on the 3rd floor of Jaya Jusco Department Store at Mid Valley Megamall, I’m not sure how it is, might just check it out tomorrow. Here are some photo of the counter on HardwareZone. I hope other gaming companies will make a move to make them official here.

You know what this means? Forget xbox360 or PS3, I’m saving up for a Wii. Everybody, say it together now, Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,…….

hey j sham,

you might not remember who i am.. i was in yer m.i.s class.. anyways.. i went to mid valley the other day, checked out jusco.. yup they have this nintendo area and displayed about 3 nintendo ds which you could try out.. pretty neat stuff..

i’m lookin’ out for wii as well!! cheers!

I think I might remember you. Yeah, hope that Nintendo is bringing Wii offcially here. I getting a Wii eventhough Wii might not have pirated games haha
