Lifelogger new updates

Lifelogger updates again, another beta? This one looks and feels much better then the last version! With the new sexy and stunning site design, I’m a fan.

What’s Lifelogger about? Well think of it as a place where you could store, share and blog with all type of media files, photos, audios and videos. It used to be a place where I would just post photos from my phone, but now it’s more then that. Blogging and beyond.

I did mention a couple of things that I would love to see, on my last post about Lifelogger during their last updates. I’m glad to see those things here on the new update!

The uploading process is also pretty easy, and there are more options now. Apart from the web uploader, there are also a flash based uploader, and now it seems that you could upload your media via Nokia Lifeblog, upload your media directly to LifeLogger from your phone. I don’t have a Nokia phone so I don’t really know much about this.

There is also a XP uploader wizard thingy that you could install on your PC. (pssst,.. will there be a OSX uploader? You know something that sits on my dock and I could just drag photos or videos to it to upload to Lifelogger) Well I hope an Mac OSX version is on the way.

Anyway you could blog directly from your mobile. When you register you’ll receive an email address that you could send your media files to. If your mobile could send an MMS to an e-mail address then you’re set.

The customization options you could do on your blog is also great. I see that now we could modified the CSS and there are on graffiti panel where you could put basically anything. I haven’t had anytime to play around with the CSS, but it’s something I’ll surely play with someday. I tried putting Flickr badges codes on the graffiti panel but it didn’t work, I might miss something will check that again next time.

Right now I’m just having fun uploading my photos to Lifelogger. Well I’m guessing there are unlimited amount of space for your media but there is a 15 Gig per month cap and I’m not really that clear about the “stamps though.

I’m always a fan of Lifelogger and what they are doing. Kudos to the team once again. I did meet with someone from Lifelogger a couple of month ago, and from what I heard, they have tons of great things planed.

My Lifelogger URL is jibone.lifelogger.com, hey add me as a contact.

So many sites that you could store and share your media are popping up these days. Flickr, Lifelogger and also coming really soon Blinklife.
