Computer Wizardry, Esoteric Spirituality, and Mind-altering Substances
When talking about online photo sharing services, Flickr or Fotopages comes to mind. There are however other photo sharing services that are doing some interesting stuff, Bubbleshare is one of them.
One could say that Bubbleshare is more focus on getting your photos on an album and sharing that album to every one. Even though there are some community aspect in the service but the whole service isn’t focus on that, at least that’s how I see it.

User interface is easy and pleasing. Signing up, uploading my picture and putting in albums, the entire process is painless. A little bit of Ajax on the site which makes the whole experience easy and fun. At times I feel like I was using a software rather than a website. Then again there are the occasional lag, the reason might be my connection to the Internet or their servers, but it isn’t a big problem.
You have RSS feeds for your album for other to subscribe too, they call it photocast, similar to what Apple is trying to do with iPhoto I guess.

There are some nifty feature that I haven’t seen on other online photo sharing services. You could add audio caption on your photo, this way while presenting your album slide shows, you could actually narrate it. Your photo plus your voice and you have your story. I thought it’s a neat feature. Visit their main page, see and listen to the sample album there.
The Ajax photo zooming thing is also fun to play with. I don’t really know of how useful the feature is, but it’s sure is fun to play with.

Bubbleshare also has a great way to put photos you have uploaded into an album and onto your site or your blog. I’ve uploaded my Hong Kong trip photo and created an album at Bubbleshare. Below is the album Bubbleshare created for me to insert in my blog. There is no audio caption simply because my microphone sucks and so does my voice. Click play and watch the slideshow.
I’m not really sure bout this, but right now, I think my public profile is http://bubbleshare.com/users/profile/19033. Well I would like simpler URL may be http://bubbleshare.com/users/jibone or something.
I didn’t read anything about limited photos or any payments account, but then again the service is still in beta.
Anyway, check out Bubbleshare.

i find this service incredible. it is much easier and fun then other services.
what is missing is a tag function.
so it would become more a community.
cheerz
You are right, the service is missing a tagging function.
Dear Jiboneus,
I would like to recommend you a tool to help you with your online photo album (that I’m using myself). In order to quickly resize, rename, add comments and date/time to your photos you can use this tool: www.batchphoto.com
Regards and happy postings.
