ListMixer is really nifty. Sid Steward was kind enough to send me an e-mail about ListMixer as a follow up on what I wrote about using social bookmarking and tagging to keep track with comment post and stuff.
“ListMixer is an easy way to track web pages that momentarily hold your interest. It’s handy for tracking blog comments or for pooling timely web pages among friends. No account is required. Really.”

Really, it’s that simple. ListMixer generates a bookmarklet with a random long unique ID. No registration require, no formal account. Use it to bookmark sites you intend to revisit. It has an RSS feed for your bookmark, you could tag your bookmark, just like all the other main social bookmark sites
What makes it different is, any link you don’t visit for a month (30 days), ListMixer will remove it from your list. This is a pretty slick trick. I use some social bookmarking sites to track sites that momentarily holds my interest for example forum treads, blogs that I’ve commented on and stuff like that. With ListMixer you don’t have to come back to clean it up.
If you found something you would like to archive permanently, ListMixer has a link / bookmarklet (hover your mouse pointer on a link) to all major social bookmark sites like blinklist, del.icio.us, furl and so on.
Clearly ListMixer is not here to replace your social bookmark sites, but it makes a good complement to it.
