Microsoft launch a technology preview of it’s Windows Live Virtual Earth Street-Side. They need to figure out a short name first I think. May be Windows Maps or MS Maps.

Names a side, check out it’s technology preview of a service call street-side. It takes street level pictures mesh it up with. Not only you could view bird’s eye view on the map but you could see what’s the street view. It puts you in a “virtual car� if you would like call that.

Pretty use full as you could see where you are driving to. Currently the service target only San Francisco and Seattle. Microsoft must have taken tons of pictures of the two cities.

So if you wanted to take a drive on San Francisco or Seattle, try it out.
