Pocket|trax is an interesting experiment. It is actually a MP3 blog that brings to you a few mp3 tracks of indie bands and artist.

But Pocket|trax is not a music review site, it collects and share artist information with a few tracks. It gives the readers something to listen to and they could review it themselves. The site encourage it readers to tag it with what they feel is an best fits the artist.

The site relies on the wisdom of the crowds to define an artist featured on it. Overtime as the site grows, I think the tag cloud it will be a great way for you to find new music base on what you already like.

Another thing I like is the listening options. You can download an M3U playlist and listen to all the songs base on the label, genre, country or even for the entire month.

However, I didn’t see this option on the tag. It would be cool if I could download the playlist for all the song base on the tag. For example if I were in the mood for some reggae, I could search for the reggae tag get the playlist and start to listen to some reggae tunes.

Thanks for the kind words once again. I dig your idea about the playlist generation via the tags. I will have to put that on my list of to-do’s.

    thanks again,
