Montastic is a free service that monitors your website uptime. It’s really simple and straight to the point. I like simplicity. Keep it simple and working, that’s all you need.
You enter your website URL. I think they limit it up to 100 website per user account. Montastic will then check every 10 minutes or so, whether your site is up or down. The interface is very simple, you will start monitoring your website in no time.
If your website goes down, Montastic will e-mail you. When it is up again, Montastic will e-mail you back. Apart from that you can also monitor your status via RSS feed that Montastic generates. There is also a Yahoo Widget to monitor your sites.

I didn’t see any log or stats stuff, like when is often your sever goes down or anything. But then again you don’t really need it any way. Montastic is working just fine as the way it is now.
Also check the video. I thought it was funny. The way the guy wiggle the sticky notes on the video was funny. The video actually made me sign up.
