Google mail Chats Look what I just notice on my Gmail account, “Chats”. It looks like Google are planing on adding chat functionality on Gmail itself, may be integrating GTalk with Gmail.

The idea behind this is, lets say you are sending an email to someone and you find him or her are online right now, would it be great if you just could IM him or her instead?

Apart from that your GTalk logs will also stored there, in your GMail. Interesting. Right now however all I have on my GMail Chats section is a link to Google Talk and a link to GMail chats info.

Google are talking about it on their blog.
