Look what I found (over at Mashable*), Blummy, a simple service that lets you organize your bookmarklet into groups. If you are like me, your bookmark bar is full of bookmatklet. Every web service this days has some sort of bookmarklet.

blummy is a free tool for quick access to your favorite web services via your bookmark toolbar.

It’s a kind of drop down menu consisting of widgets (called blummlets) that provide rich functionality. It works on almost every page on the web*. Just click on it at your toolbar.

Screenshot of my bookmarkletThe configuration feels a little bit chunky to me. There are a lot of Bookmarklet (they call it as blummlets), 48 pages of them and you can add some your self. After you have configure your Blummy bookmarklet, each time you click it, a box pop up with all your bookmarklet that you had configured into.

Good effort but I think I’ll stick with the traditional FireFox bookmark toolbar method (screenshot on the right). You just need to spend sometime to organize it.

Here is what I do, put all your bookmarklet in to a folder on your FireFox bookmark toolbar. When you want to add something to lets say, Del.icio.us click add to Del.icio.us bookmarklet. If you want to know who has tag the page you are seeing on Del.icio.us, click Del.icio.us related bookmarklet. Same goes with other Sosial Bookmarking service or Newsvine or Bloglines.

Well there you go, if you want something fancy go a head try out Blummy.
