   I think they just want to create hype… KOSMO is not selling is it ?

   Also, I think people are jeolous with Low yat sales volume..

   Jeolousy has always been a catalyst to many many things.

   This newspaper should responsible for taking hentai= anime!

   It is absolutely not fair! I mean that only losers & suckers like KOSMO reporter would able say things like that!
   They have to make a change that Anime is not hentai! Is this is a word from the Malaysian Media? If this is, that is a speech from the lame losers!

   Yes Ching, I hear you,.. I’m an anime fan too!

   But there are good news,.. A Star reporter heard the cries of all Malaysia anime fans and now Star Newspaper (not assosiated with Kosmo) has now a weekly column on anime.

   First of all, that reporter is an idiot cause he didn’t do research and a disgrace in reporter line of work. And a make a fool out of himself cause he just simply accuse anime as sex anime GENERALLY without solid proof but only based on the “lambakan” as his base proof.

   First Mistake, the reporter did not do a thorough research before writing the accusation:
   In my point of view (i try to break down to him), Animation is a large overall figure of hand-drawing art that been published in a video format. From that large figure it breaks down different type of sub class called genre. And the genre also have break to age properties which concentrate on user age. Doraemon = for kids 7 - 13, Naruto 13 and above
   And hentai is a part of the genre where its contain and it is a sub portion of those large portion, Of course its concentrate to adults only IN WHAT ALL OF YOU CALLED ADULT FILM. (sheesh what a fool he made himself is)

   To know the definition of anime, please do google search as stated above. And to know the difference type of genre, please go to anidb.net.

   So, following from what he said, that what we watched in the TV anime such as Doraemon, Pokemon is basically porn or “secara amnya ialah bahan lucah”. What kind a joke is that, even my grandmother know that Doraemon is not porn.

   Second mistake that he do is that he did not do comparison. Why? Following the comparion between anime and normal movie/TV series (with have live people in it). The difference is that both is one is hand drawn (anime) and one is live action. Basically the genre is almost the same and a genre in live action is ADULT FILM instead of hentai. So, “adakah saya boleh menyatakan bahawa secara amnya semua filem-filem yang disiarkan di television dan panggung wayang adalah FILEM LUCAH?”, no such thing right? Can I say the artist () doing porn instead that they are the the host star in SESAME STREET ? What an absurd generalisation if you ask me.

   Third mistake, you have labelized the animation industry to porn industry and you can been flamed and sue for making generalization to it. For example, is Walt Disney a animation porn industry? Bear in mind that Walt Disney is also doing animation.

   Fourth Mistake, please bear in mind as a reporter, what you write can generally affected all of us, Malaysian. I actually quite shocked that I found an article from http://www.animenewsservice.com/ where the Title is 1-24-06 (11:43AM EST)—- “All Anime Is Porno” Generalizations In Malaysia. So instead u make a fool out of yourself u just drag all Malaysian to become of the fools in the Eye of World.

    I believe that kcchong is correct. The reporter Faizal Zakaria is, without doubt, an Anti-Anime guy. Judging by his news article, I would certainly say that he is merely trying to make our country go Anti-Anime. If he says ‘Anime’ is the term to refer ‘Porno Cartoons,’ that would mean ALL ANIME WE WATCHED ON TV are PORN.

    The examples of the Animes that were aired, from years ago to just recently (one long list to be expected):
    Angelic Layer- Last shown on NTV7, recently shown on TV9
    Cardcaptor Sakura- Last shown on NTV7
    Detective Conan- Currently airing on TV3 and 8TV
    Doraemon- Currently airing on NTV7
    Kiteretsu- Currently airing on TV3
    Naruto- Currently airing on TV3
    M.A.R. (Marchen Awakens Romance)- Currently airing on TV3
    Crush Gear Turbo- Last shown on TV3
    Ragnarok the Animation- Last shown on NTV7
    Digimon- Last shown on NTV7
    Digimon 02- Last shown on NTV7
    Digimon Tamers- Last shown on NTV7
    Prince Of Tennis- Currently airing on NTV7
    Fullmetal Alchemist- Currently airing on TV3

    These Animes that were aired on tv are mostly for children and teenagers. If you managed to watch these Animes, you might notice that the majority of the characters (if I was correct) are children, some of them are cute girls. And of course, these particularly adorable and funny characters are not lolis (The hentai version of child female characters).

    Actually, what I’m trying to say is one thing: The article is telling what the reporter himself made up- 100% false facts due to his lack of research. Anyway, forgive me if I have said something offensive.

    ok la,reporter tu ada silap sikit berkenaan definisi ayat.Yg cuba diutarakan sebenarnya adalah ceritera kartun2 tak bermoral sebenarnya.Niat yg baik.

    Tapi yang lain-lain tu melatah tak tentu pasal kenapa? Memang sekarang bagi kamu yg muda-muda ni anime jepun tu ok aje,hobi dan minat…tapi,tunggu la nanti bila dah ada anak,tanggung jawab dah besar,dah boleh nampak mana baik mana buruk…masa tu dah terhantuk baru nak menggelabah.
    Ya,apa yang saya beritahu ni mungkin takde kena-mengena bagi pendapat kamu, cuba menyangkal,ok itu saya boleh terima dan faham keadaan.

    Hakiki-siapa gerangan di M’sia ni yg berani jual benda2 tak senonoh ni utk duit,duit datang dulu rosak akhlak belakang kira…tepuk dada tanya selera,kalau takde beruk,masakan pokok bergoyang-goyang.
